The lansdown is an exciting new addition offering a very fashionable and art deco style influenced bedstead, this style has made a strong resurgence and can be seen in new buildings and furniture.
The Lansdown follows the same flowing design principles that can be seen on our other beds with curved swooping sides around the frame mirrored in the headboard and feet.
Beyond the art deco influence in it's design we wanted to add height to the mattress level giving a higher sleeping position for those that prefer it as well as making it a more comfortable bed to get in and as it lessens the use of hips and knees.
In addition for taller sleepers for whom the presence of a footboard is disconcerting the footboard swoops below the mattress height.
