As with all of our furniture they are handmade from swietenia mahogany and cabinet jointed as well as hand finished please see our 'Quality and Value Guide' to understand the provenance of our tester beds we don't believe in relying on image portrayed by a brand our furniture is not the machine made mass manufactured that you find in the high street stores usually 2-3 times the price. We use only hand tools unlike a british cabinet maker who will have plenty of powered equipment bench planes etc so our furniture has a truly hand made feel to it at a fraction of the cost a British cabinet maker will have to ask for.
