Owned by husband and wife team Dave and Sarah with family members in the warehouse and showroom .
Finance
We started with a small amount of our own capital and 500Sq ft storage 6 years ago. We now have 14,000 Sq ft of showroom and warehouse space and have grown year on year. We have no debts no loans not even an overdraught.
Our Model
We work closely with our factory to develop our own designs down to the smallest detail removing the distributors / wholesalers and import directly into our warehouse. Most companies rightly will state this removes a chain in supply ('no middle man') which is why a hardwood sleigh bed from us is half the dept store prices yet is cabinet jointed hand made and finished . Few retailers have any where near this input or knowledge in the furniture they sell.
The way we sell
As mentioned above we believe that our customers have enough intelligence to evaluate information explaining our furniture and mattresses from materials to construction to finish. The purpose is to help you evaluate and understand what you are considering buying and to make sure you understand the nature of solid wood and the centuries old techniques used to accomodate them. Try and find even a quarter of this information in a furniture store from an assistant in our experience (and we do secret shop) we get only what we can see and read for ourselves the trust in a brand perception is no way to assess a significant investment in your home. We offer a 14 day long distance selling rules period (twice the legal requirement) deliver our own furniture and we are willing to hold furniture without charge should you have decorating / renovations or moving and given enough warning we can deliver outside of working hours.
